If you want this to fly you can’t keep it alive only in cyberspace only. Find a daily/nightly 15 minutes spot on tv, interview people on the streets, at events, show what some people have already gotten down on paper, as models. Create also a 15 second tv spot, posters, skywriting, a day for it built around different events. Cull a list of names from the website to maintain contact through an e-newsletter.

Although I’m jumping on this late, reading many blog comments it seems that the arts and culture have gravitated to this idea. Of which I am a fan, however my interpretation of the Think Alberta invitation to blog meant something with a little bit more tangibility to it.
I’ve often wondered why a province so rich in Natural Resources spend so much sending those resources to other provinces and countries and not develope it’s own manufacturing sector.
Alberta could very easily manufacture “solar panels”, “wind turbines” and many other enviro-tech components, quickly becoming a world leader and supplier in both the resource which is necessary to manufacturer it. Just think how cutting out the middle “men” would enhance the economy.
Just a thought – go green – but walk that talk and reduce transportation costs associated with manufacturing.
We should all write down one thought per day!

I have read much about why Alberta doesn’t invest in Greener technologies. But from my stand these are empty words, if you want to see the technologies of Solar, wind and reductive technologies than build them. Investment it out there.
